Cleaning your new Taco Racks
Due to health & safety standards, all of our Taco Racks are made with a Protective Vinyl film to protect the surface during manufacturing.
Tips on how to remove & clean the vinyl off the metal.
Remove the vinyl from both sides of the metal Taco Racks, by starting at the top, or thinnest part of the tine, and start pulling off the vinyl in one sheet.
Pieces of vinyl may remain in the Logo part of our Taco Rack. To remove those pieces easily, wash the Taco Racks in HOT water and use a scour sponge on any remaining vinyl. It should come off easily.
Stainless Steel Taco Racks are both Oven & Dishwasher Safe, so clean up will always be simple and easy after use.
COOKING WITH THE TACO RACK:
1. Line a cookie sheet or any flat baking surface with aluminum foil. Place assembled rack on foil.
2. Place taco shells into rack notches for the toasting stage.
3. Pre-heat oven according to your taco shell manufacturer's cooking directions. Place entire tray of empty shells into oven.
4. When toasted, remove tray of shells from oven. Add previously prepared meats and cheeses to each open taco shell with ease.
5. When stuffed, return tray to oven until cheese has melted.
6. Remove tray from oven and serve directly to table.
Our Logo Stamp
Follow the cleaning instructions to easily remove any remaining vinyl, left inside the Logo Stamp
Toast the Shells
Hard shells need to be crisped first, before stuffing. Place the shells into the Taco Rack, place into oven or on the grill until slightly toasted.
Tip… Spray the inside of the Taco Rack FIRST with cooking spray, to make clean up of melted cheese easier!
Melt the Cheese!
If you like melted cheese or not, The Taco Rack makes it simple to toast the shells, fill with meat and top with cheese. Returning the tray to the oven, will introduce you to what we call, The American Taco!
Assembly Instructions (Home Series Only):
1. Hold long rail in one hand upside down; drop both short rails into slots.
2. While holding three pieces, rotate and place on flat surface.
3. Drop remaining long rail into remaining slots to complete assembly.
